Shipping Policy

** Due to COVID-19 and the ongoing supply chain issues we are experiencing both delays and increases in cost for all courier and postal services in Australia.  Depending on your destination (city/regional) please allow an additional 2-10 business days for delivery. We appreciate your patience and understanding. **

Peninsula Gourmet Co offers the following shipping options:

Mornington Peninsula Region

MP Standard: $7.50 (via courier/PGCo) – delivery days TUE / FRI weekly

MP Fixed Day (excluding Next Day and outside of TUE / FRI delivery schedule): $10

MP Next Day: $22.50 (via courier/Australia Post)

MP Same Day: call 03 5981 9123 for options*

Please note: for deliveries via courier or Peninsula Gourmet Co staff, if someone is not home to receive the order, deliveries will be left in a safe place at the delivery address.  Delivery is at the purchaser’s risk.  For locked central entry unit blocks, homes with locked entry gates or where there is no safe place to leave parcels, if unsure that the recipient will be home, it is recommended that delivery is undertaken by Australia Post to allow for parcel collection.

Rest Of Australia

Australia Post Standard: $14.95 - between 2 - 5 business days

Australia Post Express: $22.50 - between 1 – 3 business days

Express Post is still the fastest way to get mail from A to B, but Australia Post can’t guarantee next-business-day delivery right now. Items may take longer than usual to arrive.  The Express Post network covers 80% of Australian business addresses, private addresses and Post Office Boxes. Service operates between all capital cities (except Darwin and in Perth CBD only) and some major centres. Outside metropolitan areas guaranteed service is to and from townships only. If your item is for an address outside the Express Post network, the fastest possible transport link is used. 

A note about rates; in reality, any company offering “free” delivery has simply added the cost of delivery to the cost of their products. We value transparency and as such our postal costs are based on the latest rates available for standard hamper sizes through Australia Post.  We don’t seek to take any margin on delivery and instead believe that to maintain value for money on our hampers that freight costs are simply passed on to the customer.

Please note: It is the responsibility of the customer to provide accurate contact details and delivery addresses for each gift. Peninsula Gourmet Co does not review this data. Should a gift be returned to sender, we will charge a fee (return and resend) to resend the gift to an assigned address. If payment or acknowledgment is not received within 7 days, gifts will be disassembled. 

*Same Day delivery service to the Mornington Peninsula Region is available depending on time of order, day of week and store delivery schedule.  We’ll always do our best to accommodate your request though can’t guarantee Same Day service due to the above factors.  Please call to discuss options
